Early Relationship, potential long distance & health issues.
So I've been dating a new girl for about 1.5 months now. We were on the verge of making things official. However, last week on Wednesday night, she got some news from her doctor that she has cancer. She is supposed to find out more in about a week or so, and told me that depending on the seriousness she might have to go back home for a while (anywhere from 2-8 months).
She has voiced her concern about the long distance and is worried that I won't be able to deal with it (which I know myself that I can). She herself has done long distance in the past, and mentioned how they did long distance after already being in a relationship for a while. I am trying to reassure her that I will be fine and I still want to do it, but she is also understandably worried about getting her heart broken.
I know realistically, she wants it too, she has voiced it herself and she is still very warm and receptive to me, even during this difficult time. But I need some advice on IF she does have to go back home, how can we make it as smooth as possible? Because I can say a million times that things will be okay, but I need something beyond just words. I want logical plans.
If anyone has any similar experience, whether it be similar in the sense of circumstance or just dealing with long distance. Please share your tips on how too make it work for the both of us. I am committed to making our relationship work, because we align so well, and I am not the type to just give up on someone.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It won't be easy, but it's possible when both people want it to work and out the time and the energy is.
Communication is important.
Regular times made to chat.
Honesty.
Depending on what the doctors say, she will need to focus alot on herself and her health, I genuinely hope it's not bad news, that it's treatable and that you both find a way to navigate through it 💜 💕
