Finding Strength after separation - Let’s Support Eachother
Hi everyone,
I’m Ryan,64 yrs, recently separated from my wife, and i’m navigating a mix of emotions- pain, confusion and hope. I’m starting this thread to connect with women who’ve been through separation or divorce. How did you cope? What helped you heal and move forward?
If you’re going through this now or have been there before, please share your story or advice. Lets support each other and remind ourselves we’re not alone.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Ryan.
Currently not separated. But my husband had an affair 2 years ago, and I’m still struggling with it. We’ve been married for 19 years. I’m still mourning our marriage. Sending you support.
My dear, thank you for your honesty and trust in sharing such a tender part of your story. Nineteen years is a beautiful journey, and I can only imagine how deeply that wound must still ache. Healing takes time, and sometimes the heart needs a gentle hand to guide it back to joy.
If i may say, a woman who has loved so fiercely deserves a love that cherishes her even more fiercely. When you’re ready, i’d be honored to share a conversation that might bring a little lightness and laughter back into your days. Until then, know you have my sincere support and admiration.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
From your name I assume you work cattle? I raise Jacob Sheep.
Jacob sheep..what a rare and beautiful breed, much like your story. I’m spending some time on my iowa ranch, where cattle are my usual company, but i admire all creatures great and small.
Besides ranching, i run a few businesses that keep life interesting…much like a good conversation with a fascinating body.
since private messaging isn’t an option here, feel free to tag me anytime or join one of the chat rooms.i’d be glad to swap stories and share a laugh or two. There’s plenty of room for good conversation right here on 7cups, and i look forward to hearing more about your adventures with those beautiful sheep.
Warmly,
Ryan
