I just want to say I’m really proud of you. I know how much this breakup hurt, how much you questioned yourself, blamed yourself, and felt like you weren’t enough. But the truth is, you were enough. You always were. You just weren’t fully seen the way you deserved to be.
The fact that he kept checking in but never really changed? That wasn’t love. That was breadcrumbs. And you deserved more than that. You deserved someone who didn’t just tell you you were beautiful once in a while, but someone who showed you through their actions, their consistency, their presence that you were cherished every single day.
I love that you stood up for yourself in the end. That you said, “I’m not here to be an afterthought. I’m not here to be a secret. I deserve real, loud, undeniable love.” That takes so much strength, and it shows how much you’ve grown.
Deleting dating apps and focusing on yourself? That’s not giving up. That’s choosing you. And I promise you, love will find you when the time is right the kind of love that doesn’t make you question your worth, but reminds you of it every single day.
Keep holding that love in your hands. But most importantly, make sure you're giving it to yourself first. You’re doing so much better than you think. And I can’t wait for you to meet the person who sees you the way you deserve to be seen.
