Help me out
I have this friend and I have had a crush on him for a few months and he knows that, everyone has told him exept for me, well we went to a dance together and he gave me many mixed signals, well he’s not ready for a relationship rn and I fully respect that, but I decided to finally tell him myself, I told him but I also mentioned that I know he’s not ready and that I’m not asking for anything. Well he told me he only sees me as a friend and then he started leaving me on open and I asked if we are still friends and he said he needs time to think about it. I felt bad and I made him a snack basket and he texted me and said “ um thanks I guess.” And I poured my heart out saying how much I value the friendship and all he said was “srry I was busy I need to think about it”
@adaptableTriangle1711 He said that he only sees you as a friend and then began avoiding you. When you asked him about it, he said he needed time. You did not respect that and continued to push the issue by making a snack basket. This, I am certain, did not help the situation.
Honor his request. Give him the time he's asked for and if he doesn't want to continue the friendship, let him go. It won't feel good. It's going to hurt. Let him go anyway.
