How to move on
We dated for 6 years. We broke up 2 weeks ago and today I saw him with someone else. What to do this is so depressing

Give yourself the time and space to process your feelings—it's okay to grieve what you had.
Focus on self-care during this tough time. Surround yourself with supportive friends or family who can lift your spirits. Engaging in activities you enjoy or exploring new hobbies can also help you start to heal. Remember, moving on is a journey, and it’s perfectly okay to take it one step at a time. You’re not alone in this, and brighter days will come!
I am sorry that this has happened. A breakup is never easy. I myself went through one in the last few months and I have only just begun to feel ready to even consider a relationship again. However, I have also come to realize there are many ways I can improve myself and learn from my previous relationship. I will not lie to you, the breakup will suck and it will probably take weeks or months to recover from. However, you will recover, and you will be better than you ever were before.
What is important is to care for yourself in this time. Do things you love. Allow yourself to feel the feelings you are experiencing, but also don’t let them consume you. If you ever feel like you are spiraling reach out to a friend or loved one, do things that will help distract you, and reach out to other support systems like this community.
Now, I may not know everything about you and your ex’s situations. However, by him going out with someone new he might be trying to drown the feelings of the breakup by finding someone to fill the hole. This is not a healthy practice, even if it is tempting, it will only lead to delaying processing the feelings from the breakup, it could lead to dependency, and make things even worse down the line. That aside, what is important to remember is that you are an individual capable of feeling love and happiness without a relationship. I hope that you are able to take all the time you need to recover, and remember to practice self-love and self-compassion. We all are here for you and will help however we can.
