I am in toxic marriage
I was married to a man who is toxic. Like he put down me to take care next minute. It’s really scary which one of his behaviour was true. He was good to me when he wants something from me and he will treat me with such cruelty when he is not bother about getting anything from me. last few days he was in such a hurry to always to shame me for everything and one day he beat for nothing. He couldn’t handle my energy and idk what to do now. I’m thinking of applying divorce..

Thank you for sharing something so personal. It takes strength to put these experiences into words, especially when you've been made to question your own reality for so long.
What you’ve described—being treated kindly only when it serves him, being shamed, and then physically hurt—is not love. It’s manipulation, emotional abuse, and violence. None of this is your fault, and you didn’t cause it by being “too much” or having a certain kind of energy. People who truly care for you won’t tear you down or make you live in fear of what version of them you’ll meet each day.
It’s okay to feel confused, scared, even guilty about thinking of divorce—those feelings are valid. But it’s also okay to want safety, clarity, and peace in your life. If you're thinking about taking that step, it might help to quietly gather support: trusted friends, family, or even a legal advisor or therapist who can help you navigate this safely. You don’t have to make every decision at once, just the next right one for your well-being.
You deserve to feel safe in your own home. You deserve a love that doesn’t hurt, confuse, or shame you. Whatever path you choose next, I hope it brings you closer to the peace you’ve been denied for too long. You’re not alone in this, and you don’t have to go through it alone either.
Feel free to talk if you would like to.
