I feel alone in the group
I know people don't like me that's why I really choose who to befriend. But why is it that when I became comfortable and open to them, that's when all things became complicated. They start talking behind my back and keeping secrets. I just don't get it. What is so wrong with me that they can't be a constant in my life?

I doubt that anything's wrong with you. What is the evidence that people don't like you? If it's based on behind the back gossip, usually it's people talking about themselves, although they're lacking sufficient self-insight to realize it, or they're trying to make themselves look good by making others look bad.
Sadly, within certain age groups, precious few are emotionally mature enough to be trusted with honest, open self-disclosure.
That you have courage enough to try opening up, speaks well of you, regardless of how others have responded.
There are people in the world who'd appreciate and value you, and even more so because you have the courage to open up. How to meet such people, that's the challenge. I tend to closely observe how they treat others, especially those who may feel awkward or shy.
Many are alone. I ask myself, "why can't we be alone together?"
