Im confused

Recently my boyfriend has been comparing me to other women. However he does it by saying things like “oh well she’s like two of you” or just making other rude comments about them to me. I feel terrible that he’s saying those things about other people and it makes me question what he says about me behind closed doors. He knows that I have had a long battle with self confidence and don’t know if he thinks saying things like that is helping cause it’s definitely not. Or if this is just a huge red flag. I’m confused on how to feel about the whole situation. Pls help!
