Is letting go has to be the only solution?
I love him. He loves me. And we both know we're scared or not ready of letting go of each other. But sometimes, the difference in our personality and beliefs makes us clash and gives tension between us.
We both currently have things going on in our lives, him being just fully transitioned and working on the changes of his bodies, while I am currently unemployed and doing my best to earn money from my commissions and figuring out myself too if I have any personality disorders..
Things have been really tough lately, especially that we're in a long distance relationship and the fact that we barely get time alone with each other with our time difference as well. When we argue, it gets to a point that I am scared we have to let go of each other...
But I know, we both know we can't afford it yet....
Right now, we're trying to give each other a space, possibly to calm the tension between us, but I want to make things work between us....even if it's hard...even if it seems pointless....

Giving each other space for now, to work through things , doesn't mean letting go or giving up forever.
It just allows you both to do what you need to and then you'll get in a better situation to support each other 💛

That is such a nice way to put it. Thank you very much. It reassures me 🥹💖✨

A pleasure 💜
I don't think giving each other space is the same as giving up. Sometimes it's actually one of the healthiest things you can do when life already feels overwhelming. It sounds like you're both carrying a lot individually, and that can make even the strongest or longest relationships feel heavy.
I'm saying this as someone who was in a long distance relationship too. Our schedules were completely opposite, and now we live together. Even after making it through long distance, we still have disagreements from time to time. There were moments when my anxiety convinced me that every argument meant something was wrong. I wanted to fix everything immediately because the silence scared me. But over time, I realized that not every difficult moment means the relationship is falling apart. Sometimes people just need a little room to breathe before they can come back and understand each other better.
Instead of asking, "Do we have to let go?" maybe ask yourselves, "Are we both still willing to put in the effort to work through this?" My partner once told me something that really stuck with me: no matter how much we have in common, we're still two different people. There will always be misunderstandings or hard seasons, but what matters is whether both people are willing to listen, grow, and meet each other halfway.
If that's something you both still want, then the space you're giving each other can be a healthy pause instead of a goodbye. Just take things one day at a time. Focus on taking care of yourselves too, because it's okay to refill your own cup before pouring into someone else's. It's a part of growing together despite the distance and differences. I genuinely hope things get more lighter for the both of you and your relationship. Wishing you both the best. ♡
