I still live with my ex and it’s making me INSANE
I got with my ex when I was 17. She had family issues and ended up bouncing from house to house before moving in with me. At first it was okay, but she started going through my phone and even my journal, which made me feel like I had no privacy. We moved out together and things calmed down for a bit, but then she got distant and started treating me mean. I stayed because I didn’t want to leave her with nowhere to go, even though I was broke and stressed. It took her 6 months to get a job, and once she did, we still fought a lot. The last fight, she called me a bunch of names like “lazy,” “a nerd,” and “a hurt little boy,” which really cut deep because I felt like I was already carrying everything on my shoulders.
Now we still live together, but I have a new job and I’m just trying to save up so I can finally get out of here.
