I want to strengthen a relationship between me and my platonic partner
Recently, I've felt this guilt for wanting a romantic relationship, I'm obviously not ready for one and I'm fine with that. I have a partner/close friend, we're in a queer-platonic relationship. I love him with all my heart and I love the time we get to spend together doing whatever, but recently I feel like we've just kinda of.. Been distant, And I don't like that all. We've had some arguments and difficulties before this and I really hope that wasn't the cause of this. I'm not sure whether he thinks we've been distant too, he wants to spend more time with me as well and that makes me so happy. I don't want this selfish urge to be the reason we have to split, if I lose him I lose myself. He means the world to me. I want some opinions and recommendations on what I could do to make our relationship grow closer again? We're long distance so, I can't do anything outside of text!!

I had to look up queer-platonic and i learned something new. Friendships like any other relationships or feelings tend to oscillate in intensity. Just like waves in the ocean. If you're concerned that something is splitting you apart, maybe you can freely communicate about it? Sometimes it's a resentment over what someone does it say. Sometimes one of you meets someone new. Sometimes it's stress, anxiety and depression.
One more thing. While you might be fine with the platonic thing, i would not be surprised if the boy wants something more. Men are like that.
Thank you, I don't think he's comfortable with romantic relationships, we go on game dates sometimes and make gifts for each other in a platonic sense but our relationship is more than a friendship, less than a relationship. If he doesn't want that then I'll respect it and continue to support him like I always have. Thank you again!

why don't you just talk to him? And I mean, talk, not txt. There are so many ways nowadays to talk other then calling on mobiles or landlines. Using f a c e b o o k for instance, you can do video calls.
