I was rejected by a girl

Hello, everyone. Today, I would like to talk about the thing that I can barely stand: I was rejected by my classmate.

Before talking about the problem, I'll contextualise my situation: I'm a teen, I've been a refugee in one of the European countries for almost 4 years and for 3 years I've studied here in a local school (now I'm in the last grade). My life here is honestly a bureaucratic ***: appointments, documents, phone calls, emails, complaints, financial misery, bills and absence of decent living conditions. I've lived for 3 years in an apartment with awful neighbours who were consuming some substances with a disgusting smell, who were sometimes trying to *** into my apartment, who were making noise every night and who were threatening me. I tried everything (really, everything I could) in order to solve my housing and other problems, but no one cared: neither the police, nor social services, nor justice, nor volunteer organisations.

In this atmosphere, where I also lost my interest in my hobbies (due to permanent problems), in 2024 I fell in love with a student from another class because she is probably the prettiest girl I've ever seen in my life. From 2024 until 2026, I've never dared to talk to her because I was shy and was fearing to be mocked by my classmates. In 2025 she appeared in my class, so I found her name and tried to find all the information I could about her on the web. My interest in her was at its apogee, I spent some days just thinking about her.

The year 2026 arrived, my last year in school. In January, there was a school offer: "pay 3 euros and we'll send a rose to your recipient N days before Saint Valentine's Day". I decided to change something in this silent love story, to try my chances. I wrote a romantic message, whose sense was that she occupies all my thoughts, I wrote my name and I paid for a rose.

Then, the day of roses arrived. Roses were distributed and my love got my rose too. However, she didn't say anything to me for 3 days. Three days after the day of roses, I decided to text her best friend (and not directly my love because I didn't want to seem impolite and persistent)... Fortunately, she answered and told me that my love isn't interested in a relationship, but she appreciated my gift.

Now, dear users of this forum, I want to know what I should do. I lost my last hope for happiness in this life. For 2 years I was hoping she could help me mentally with my difficulties... Probably, I even lost my last hope for a sense of life. It's horrible to live driven only by impulse, obligation, and responsibility, rather than by a true sense of purpose.

Thank you everyone.

P.S. Sorry for my English.

The words hidden automatically by * symbols are polite, I swear you. The first one is the antonym of paradise and the second means "to come in without permission".
