Life after the break up

I just broke up with my bf, i really didn’t want to. I’m still bery much in love with him but we just became so distant and I felt he wasn’t trying anymore. I’m still holding out hope that it might work out again in future (dumb i know).

But now I’m dealing with the loneliness, i have my friends but I don’t speak to them daily and it’s really not the same.

Its only been about a week since the break up but i don’t know how to get over this…..

I’m sorry. How was the relationship over all? How did he make you feel?

He made me feel loved for so much of the time we were together, i always felt secure in our relationship and trusted him. Until the last few months, he said he had family issues & was going through a lot and that t was pulling him Eventually when i initiated the break up he said he realised he’s not as ready for a relationship as he thought he was. Which is always code for I don’t care about you anymore but don’t want to be the bad guy and end things. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt that those feelings were true but to be honest i don’t. I’m literally heartbroken.

I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this! I’m in a similar situation right now and I can attest to life being difficult after a breakup. Learning to live by yourself when you’ve had a second half for so long is painful. And it’s a process that has its ups and downs. I definitely feel for you and am sending positive vibes 🌼
