My LDR bf says I don't understand him
So.. I have a LDR with my bf 8 months ago,it's been a tough year for me due irl issues,and we've been good until lately he told me I've became irritable and complain about almost everything (when the only thing I've done is to ask something to him I don't like or I'm not comfortable with) but he says it's the way I say it not the question itself so I think I have to improve on how I say the things I just don't know how... He's been patient to me but I feel he's getting done and I need guidance to find ways to understand him better,he also doesn't open up easily and he said he has done toe but that don't feel likely now because he's hurt, disappointed... And might take time that he opens up to me,I feel we having not good communication cause of that too,and even though I know he doesn't feel to open up to me lately,I keep asking him to tell me the things that bother him but he just doesn't do,and that makes me feel frustrated,please help..

I will make an example if he invited you to go fishing, because he really likes fishing, but you really don’t like to fishing and you are not comfortable fishing

If you just say “ I don’t want to fish i am uncomfortable with fishing” . to a guy it feels like you are saying that he is not a good enough man, that if he was a better man, then you would like to fish. so you are accidentally telling him he is not a good enough man and that is why he has a bad reaction . So anytime that you reject a boyfriend’s idea ( it is always ok to tell the truth about your preferences), but always reject him by telling him that he is the best guy, and the only man for you, Tell him That you are saying no to the activity, but you are saying YES to the man, because he is the best and he is your one and only.
