Open relationship
My fiance wants an open relationship and i don't but he keeps pushing despite my feelings and im about to just let him do what he wants and I'll just deal with the anxiety and such aline so he can be happy...
@charmingWatermelon3460 my gf has asked me about open relationships two years ago and we are since dealing with its consequences. in hindsight, I shouldn't have ever taken it up as it broke us and made us distant emotionally, but it also brought a lot of lessons for life that wouldn't be possible without going into it at the first place. it requires some difficult coping times before it gets easier and more palatable. I can only wish you well and pray to give you strength.
@charmingWatermelon3460 So fiancé and open relationship sounds incongruent to me. I personally would never agree to marry someone if it meant they could sleep around. It’s also physically increasing risk for STD. If this situation makes you uncomfortable now, do you think you’ll be able to just get used to it? Personally, I would drop this person like yesterday!

I don't get the concept of open relationship to begin with. It's silly,, it's stupid, and it's like making a concrete building on a foundation of sand.
A beautiful sanctimonious relationship, ruined just because people don't have the ability to keep in in their pants.
