Hi, i’m new. But i don’t understand sometimes why J overthink so much about the little things and i tend to take out the wrong emotions on my loved one and it makes me feel terrible and i don’t know how to fix it and i just feel so bad and hurt by the way i acted. Has anyone ever done this? I need some help on this.

@selfconfidentMango1151 Hello, and you're very welcome to 7cups, Mango! Firstly, thank you for sharing this. I hear you on the overthinking; it is never easy to be at the mercy of our own incessant thoughts. It becomes exhausting to listen to and takes us further from a solution, rather than nearer. This build-up of unexpressed energy then tends to manifest as snapping at someone - usually our loved ones - without knowing why. Learning to validate - to recognise, acknowledge and accept our feelings and those of others - helps. As you're new, I'll link you the 7cups guide to managing emotions, which explains much more on how to do this.
