Panic Advice
I have been very burnt out this summer every little thing triggers me and I have been going to to these intense panic attacks. Does anyone have any advice on how to help get me out of these moments and afterwards because that can almost feel worse than the attacks themselves.
Mine are quite unsettling before, during and after so I can relate. Aside from reassuring myself that it's going to get better and that the worst is over..
I can go either way, watch or listen to something weepy or can have something feelgood, like a pop song or a comedy.
Also though I try to write out, exactly what brought it on and how I'm feeling. The temptation to forget it ever happened and not dwell, used to be my coping method, but it didn't help me.
As soon as I recognised that I had to be braver than normal and face it. It got less consuming.
I accept that I'll always have triggers but now I feel like even if I fall apart, I have a way to deal with it better.
I hope you start feeling more yourself soon :)
