Partnerless for life
every time I meet a new guy, we either end up as “just friends,” ghosted, or the interest fades. I feel like no one wants to actually be with me. I’m trying to envision myself and embrace being romantically alone for the rest of my years. How do I accept this?
@Thewayitis29 It’s their loss, not yours. Someone will miss out on having you as a wonderful partner if you give up now. Of course, if you choose to give up now, no harm no foul. But behind your question, “How do I accept this?” Is your heart’s real question, “How do I change this?”
Thanks @flatenedbylife; that is the real question. I try to make changes like no longer dating what I call app guys. Met a fgiy through a friend and it still turned out the same. I guess my first step is to leave the past in the past even when asked about it because once I start, I just blurt out every detail. Gonna apply this moving forward. I appreciate you!
Lower your standards and yield to those who truly love you. Life's too short to want someone that doesn't reciprocate.
honestly, most guys I yield to are subpar. My issue seems to be i date below standard but I’m subpar to the men who I would deem to meet my standards. I appreciate your response, @naturalfriend1990.
