Poem on my own..

When the veil of shyness fell apart,

It was you I lost—

Quietly.

And when time began to change me,

I wandered through its ruins

Looking for what remains of you.

The music that slept within me,

The poetry I never spoke—

I wove them, thread by thread,

Only for you.

And now—

Even they are leaving me.

Every fragile second of my life

Still longs

To dissolve in your embrace.

Like a sky that sulks

Before the rain breaks,

I have frozen into silence.

At dusk, where the sun slowly dies,

I stand—

Admiring a you

That no longer exists…

Only a shadow.

This maddened heart won’t heal—

It only knows

How to melt away

Searching for you.

Does it still whisper your name?

Even after hearing it—

You remain unchanged.

Go. And would you never turn the back..?
