Hi everyone.I’m in long distance relationship now for 9 months already,everything is good and i feel like it’s my person with who i want build family later but the thing is we never talked on the video call although he want to cause i worry that i wont understand him because he’s nigerian and i’m ukrainian and both of us can have an accent in our english speaking,i really want to talk with him but i have a fear

So, the worst that can happen is that you won't be able to understand each other verbally. If that happens, you can continue to write to each other. You can also learn from each other, and gain greater verbal understanding over time.
My brother married into a Spanish speaking family. Over the past 40 years, I think they've worked it out pretty well.
It's alright you are going to understand him. I am a Nigerian and I a friend in Ukraine he use to call me and we will speak for hours and we can hear ourselves clearly.. so go ahead please
