Stress from long distance relationship

Basically the title

But it's also a multitude of different things

I guess a lot of it stems from my low self esteem but it seems like I'm not important to them. I'm constantly worried that they are ignoring or they're just using me in some way.

To make matters worst i asked them their body count and it just shook me even more. I know I shouldn't have asked but I did and that's on me.

I guess their body language or mannerisms just make alarms go off in my head that they don't really like me

In the end I don't know what I'm asking for, maybe advice? Or maybe words of comfort? Idk

Hi there,

I'm really glad you reached out to share what you're going through. Long-distance relationships can be incredibly challenging, especially when combined with feelings of low self-esteem. It's completely understandable to feel stressed and uncertain.

It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of worries about your importance to your partner and fears about being ignored or used. This must be really tough for you. Have you had a chance to talk to your partner about these feelings? Open communication can sometimes help clear up misunderstandings and reassure both partners.

You mentioned that asking about their body count made things worse for you. Why do you think this particular question affected you so deeply? It can be helpful to reflect on why certain topics or actions trigger strong emotions.

When you talk about their body language or mannerisms making alarms go off in your head, could you give some examples of what specifically makes you feel this way? Understanding these triggers might help you address your concerns more effectively.

Finally, you mentioned not knowing exactly what you're asking for – whether it's advice or words of comfort. What kind of support do you feel would help you most right now? Sometimes just expressing your worries and having someone listen can be a big relief.

I have spoken to them about my feeling. Luckily they don't try to minimize what I feel. They have concerns that they have done nothing wrong but yet i feel that way about them. I have asked to communicate more with thru out the day since it's the only way we can really be in each other's lives since we're at a distance

I honestly shouldn't have asked about the body count. I guess it affects me because now I feel less special like just one of many. It's hard not to draw comparison to other they might have been with or loved more. I feel like since it came so easy for them to have others, they will just discard me when they find the next best thing. I hate to say it as well, it makes me value them a bit less as well.

I guess with the body language and mannerisms you can kinda tell when someone is interested in someone and they kinda do that around other. Some of my friends are beautiful and I've noticed that they will pay more attention to what they're saying. Their voice changes when talking to them. Their whole body language is just pointed to them. And sometimes it's with strangers as well. I've spoken to them about and they say they don't remember that or that I'm over thinking it

And I guess I'm looking for words of comfort and i just want to just say it all and hope i get some cathartic release
