So I have been pondering this for about a week my current relationship has been 2 years and a rocky one at that. My little sister 21 lives with me. My SO had a good bond with his last relationships sister as well so at first I was ok. My sister struggles with a sleigh of mental health as well as I do but hers is more severe sadly my SO can understand her all day the conversate smoke hang out all of it we all rely on my vehicles o I get driven to work by him so does she and whenever I have appt of extra out of town training for my healthcare job he *** as soon as she’s got something drs or whatever oh sure I gotchu. Today she had a specialist appt he brought her and has ignored me for hours. I’m frustrated when I finally got acknowledgement I stated calmly how I was feeling like he always answers me 3 calls in an hour and no response but if I did that to him he would’ve bugged and has before me and him have been very rocky lately and do I feel as if there more there no in my gut but me head fights and say different she says she don’t even like me with him we fight to much and dadadada. I’m sick of feeling delulu with my feelings especially when I finally can state them I need some opinions on how Tia proactive handle or maybe some clarity maybe I’m not processing it right TIA 🤍

First of all thank you for sharing so openly. That takes strength. You're carrying a lot, and it makes perfect sense that you're feeling overwhelmed, confused, and hurt. None of what you're feeling is “delulu” or too much you're human, you're trying to communicate, and you deserve to feel seen and valued in your own relationship. You’ve been incredibly patient, and it sounds like you’ve tried to approach things calmly and with understanding. But even the strongest people get tired when the emotional weight is always one-sided. When someone you love seems more tuned into someone else especially someone as close as your sister vit can start to feel like you’re invisible in your own home, and that cuts deep. The fact that you’ve stayed in this relationship despite the rockiness shows how much effort you’ve put in. And your frustration doesn’t make you selfish or jealous—it makes you someone who wants to feel prioritized, respected, and emotionally safe. That’s not too much to ask for. It’s also okay to be confused. Your heart and head may be pulling in different directions, and that’s normal when you care about someone but also feel consistently let down. Trust yourself you know when something doesn’t feel right. Here’s a gentle reminder Your feelings are not a burden. Your voice matters. Your needs matter. You are not overreacting for wanting clarity, consistency, and love that feels mutual. You don’t have to figure it all out in one day. But you do deserve a relationship where you don’t feel like you’re competing for attention or understanding. And you’re allowed to put yourself first because love shouldn’t come at the cost of your peace. You’re doing better than you think. Sending you strength and clarity as you keep moving through this one honest step at a time. 🤍
