I've been in a toxic relationship for a year now. In the begening everything was super nice, no toxicity signs. The first problem is the age gap beetwen us. I am 25 y old he is 54 and this was a fact i didnt knew in the begening bc he lied telling me he was 45. Our relationship started as a one night stand, i was in a very bad stage of my life with no money no job and i saw him at first as a solution to my problems. He supported me with money clothes and all those things so at first i continued the relationship to profit and just for money, no emotions included. After one month of dating he proposed me to live together and i accepted. At the time i was living with my other 3 friends and i had problems with them at the moment plus i didn t have money to pay the rent anymore so i accepted to move out with him. The first 2 months pf living together where fine i had my space to go out with ny friends he also had his time no jelosy included. Then i became jelous of everything and told him to havr excusive relationship and he accepted. The next months we fell in love with each other and there started the toxicity, extreme jelosy, emotional abuse and all that. I told my parents about my relationship and they didnt accept it because of the age gap and his past divorce plus he has 3 childs. So i destroyed the relationship with my family for him and continued the relationship. I got pregnant not planned and i had a wanted mescarrige bc i didnt want a child in that time. We are still in a relationship and is so hard to leave it. Any tips you have to leave a toxic relationship?

@SerenaRena hi there, Serena! thank you for sharing this with all of us here :3

i hear you. being in a relationship that is toxic can definitely be very difficult to navigate and is often best to end because it's not good for either of you. especially when struggling financially, leaving the relationship can be even harder. at this moment, are you having any income of your own? are you able to support yourself?
