When is enough, enough?

Hello. I don’t know how to explain everything that’s been going on between my husband and I. Things have not been good for just over a year now. We have been married for two years and together for four. Known each other for six. Lately things are getting more intensely uncomfortable. The arguments that are happening are bad. He is usually drunk. He will say extremely hurtful things and act like everything is okay the next day. I can’t let it go though. I’m constantly reminded of the things he’s said and he does not really hear me out when I bring it up. He has completely denied things he’s said before. Also said I’m bad too because I’ve been mean as well. But the thing is I’ve never gone as far as he had and I still remember the next day and do not deny things happened. I don’t want to get into specifics but I’m crying every day wondering if there really is better out there? Even just to be single. I feel trapped. We have no shared children but I would lose a step child which would hurt me a lot. But I don’t know if I can continue forward. We have history but is it worth throwing away to be happy?

Well alcoholism can drain and break others.. This is a real struggle your in. Talking this out with listeners can probably help you find a level ground to live on. You are thinking quite clearly and you thoughts are valid..🌲

@lovingSquare56 You should not have to feel this way!! You are so loved and deserve so much love!! There is happiness outside of this. Choose yourself.
