breaking off my situationship
I’ve been talking to this guy since March and everything is going great until end of May where we had a misunderstanding and we solve that out but ever since then it’s been rocky and it feels different and he’s changed because for the past two days he has been very cold. I have now been left on delivered for almost 48 hours while he is active on *** and we talk on iMessage so I double texted him today saying “I understand you dont wanna talk to me anymore so i wont be reaching out again i hope the wedding goes well.” (his brother is getting married) now he’s been active on snap and *** and has not replied to my message, even though I have double texted him Part of me wants to let go other part wants to fix this because we have a special bond What do I do?

Hey, first of all I’m really sorry you’re going through this. It’s incredibly painful when someone you care about starts acting distant, especially when things used to feel so warm and connected. You’re not crazy for feeling hurt. You’re not being needy. You’re just human and it’s okay to want clarity, effort, and presence from someone who once gave you that freely. The fact that he’s been active and hasn’t responded, even after such an honest and respectful message from you… that speaks volumes. You handled it with grace you didn’t beg, you didn’t lash out, you just expressed how you felt. And that takes real strength. Now, as much as your heart might want to hold on, remember this you deserve someone who doesn’t leave you guessing. Someone who values you not just when it’s easy, but especially when things get hard or confusing. It’s okay to miss what you had, but don’t let that stop you from seeing how you’re being treated right now. You don’t have to chase someone to prove your worth. You don’t need to keep showing up for someone who won’t even send a simple reply. Maybe he’s overwhelmed. Maybe he’s changed. Maybe he's just not in a place to give you what you need and that’s not your fault. But what is in your hands is how much peace you allow back into your life by choosing you. Letting go isn’t giving up. It’s choosing yourself over confusion.
And trust me someone out there will match your energy, your love, your effort… effortlessly. So breathe. Be proud of how you handled this. And let the silence speak its truth. You're stronger than you know. 🌻
I'm rooting for your healing always.
