Anxious Attachment Style

March 9th, 2025

I haven't been in proper amount of relationships. But I learned recently that I fall into an anxious attachment style.

Now, being single again, I hope to work on myself to become more secure in love. I'll not let someone in my life again until I can make sure that the person I have to spend a life time with has securing love traits.

Sorry for my broken English, a Thai person here.

Wiranpat, first of all, your English is just fine! And more importantly, what you’re saying is so powerful. Recognizing your attachment style and making the decision to work on yourself is a huge step—one that many people never even take. That shows incredible self-awareness and strength.

Healing from an anxious attachment isn’t easy, but it’s absolutely possible. And the fact that you’re prioritizing your own growth before letting someone new into your life? That’s beautiful. You deserve a love that feels safe, consistent, and secure one that doesn’t leave you questioning your worth or craving reassurance all the time.

Give yourself grace in this journey. There will be ups and downs, but every step forward, no matter how small, is still progress. And when the right person comes along, they’ll meet you with the kind of steady, reassuring love that makes you feel at home. Until then, keep choosing yourself. You’re on the right path. ❤️
