Hello I've been with my husband going on 19 years, 2 girls 17 and 7. We've been through alot together (lost custody and got it back) He a bit on the jealous side has low self esteem. He hasn't had a drivers license since I've known him and can't own a car (i understand that aggravation) he has had 3 jobs in less then 6 months he says because he doesn't get along with the other employess or management. When i have a job i have to be getting #'s things like that. After he lost his job about 4 months ago things would happen to prevent him from getting hired so i went to a temp service and started working. (Money ran out and bills needed to be paid) That assignment ended so we're both out of work. I've noticed in the past year we seem to argue about the littlest things and it goes so far and he gets very ugly with the things he says like a teenager would (38 year old) and it's like an endless circle. I will say for example i don't want do this with you and to him I'm saying i don't want to be with him but I'm talking about the arguement. No matter how many times I've explained this it's not it he believes that and in turn brings it up later in the fight and it just keeps going round and round. He says i said this and idk how what to do. If anyone has any thoughts ideas advice?

Hello!

When major problems come up in relationships or families such as money, things seem to have the domino effect. You are both tense with no money and 4 mouths to feed which is completely understandable and anyone would be stressed in that situation. Tackling the major problem may help everything sizzle out a bit. For the moment it is going to put a strain on the relationship but once you guys get the money under control things will either start to get back to normal or maybe a new problem needs to be addressed. I always encourage one step at a time and talking or writing plans or lists are super helpful for some people! I hope you guys get this straightened out especially after being together for 19 years! (Go you!)

I hope this helps,

Ocean
