Feeling like I’m “too much” for my bf

I recently started dating a close friend of mine, we met about a year ago, so the friendship is new too. He’s very supportive and never fails to make me feel special when we’re together. I even had a panic moment and once I explained what happened and what triggered me he fully understood me, But for some reason when I leave to go to work or spend the night alone I have these negative thoughts that tell me I’m not good enough. I’m not sure if this is normal in a newer relationship or if it’s just me. Has anyone else ever felt like this and has any tips on how to deal with this new relationship anxiety?

Hi there :)

I'm sorry you're struggling with your self-worth, I can only imagine how tough it is when you do not feel like you are good enough for your partner! <3 I hope you find a way to accept how much of a wonderful person you are! <3

Thank you, I didn’t connect my feelings with self worth and with that information I can now really dive in and start working on that.

You should know that you are good enough. You are just like me. I have this severe anxiety and I overthink a lot about my relationship causing me to sabotage my relationship. I always ask my partner for reassurance but I can't always get that especially if it becomes like a habit. It could be tiring too. I'm slowly dealing with my insecurity so I'll stop sabotaging my relationship. I hope you do too and if he really loves you, and you love him, you should have trust.
