What is it about his past that you need to get over with? There are some things you can overlook and others you can't.
The things about his past I more overthink are the things he has done with other girls even if just friends like when he slept over at their house or at a hotel with them, went swimming in just his underwear (even tho he said they werent paying attention or saw he even went in), taking couple photos with girls he says are just his female freinds and cuddling with them in a hammock, tease stripling for a dare. I only found out about these times cause he wither told me or his friends mentioned told me about them. I know it's the past and it shouldn't matter but it just does to me that he or the females saw or tocuhed or thought something intimate about each other

Getting hung over his past is really going to effect the relationship and take a huge toll on both you guys. If it bothers you, yes, bring it up to him. BUT. You need to understand that even if you bring it up to him there is nothing he can do about it because what's been done is done. If you're worried he's still going to be the way he was before you two go together, let him know. Only expect changes from here on out. Don't be hung up over it or else you two will eventually go your own ways.
I have to say I am on the other end like your BF and my bf is on your end. For me, it's frustrating whenever I have to sit here and listen to him get angry about my past. He brings it up constantly and expects me to somehow go back in time to fix it. He brings it up because he claims I'm such a wonderful person who my ex didn't deserve (I was married once, with 2 kids), that he loves me so much and wanted all those things with me but an idiot already ruined it all for him. It has taken a huge toll on our relationship. If you know his past is just going to bother you anyways whether you talk to him or not, I'd suggest to walk away now before deeper into the relationship.
