Having the talk
I just wanted to know when is it a good time to have the talk. To determine where the relationship is going. I’ve known this guy for two months and he has been throwing hints that he likes me, however he hasn’t tried to make a move yet. I don’t want to pressure him into committing in a relationship but I want to make it clear if we’re friends or not so that I know how to behave towards him. So what is the correct way to have the talk with a guy who hasn’t made a move on you?
@yellowmarshmallow99 I think 2 months is a bit too soon for that I would wait a few more months then take it from there.
I don’t know what the correct timescale is, it’s entirely dependent on the relationship. However, if you feel that asking and getting an answer would be beneficial to you then I’d say to ask, in a casual way if you can. The other thing that I’ve found helps is to have a separate conversation space (maybe another app) where you can agree that anything can be asked with no guilt, no judgement and no consequences, as a safe space between you; this can work as friends or something more.
