How can I help him?
I'm currently in a new relationship. We're dating for five months. I think we're fine and still on getting to know phases. But one time, he told me that sometimes, he's been bothered with his thoughts of me, of my previous relationships. That I already done it with them. That makes him think that what we're doing is not something special anymore. That actually hurts my feelings but I didn't tell him coz I know it's just his thoughts. How can I help him to overcome his thoughts and what assurance I can give him to stop overthinking? I told him that what happened before is already done. That to be with my past relationships helps me to love him better

Omg I'm in the same situation. There is nothing you can do to help him, only he can do it himself. All you can do is show him how much you love, care, and appreciate him.

I want to share part of my story with you on here since I can't message you or anything.
I was with my ex for 12 years total and had 2 kids. Things went down south and we got a divorce. 1 year later I met my current bf and it's almost 2 years. First 6/7 months were great. He was sweet, loving, romantic, kind. He love my kids, bought a house for us, had me move out here with him. Then he changed.
He started asking me about my past marriage. He was constantly thinking about my past, always moody and sad. It got worse. He went back to drinking constantly and getting angry at me. Saying I lied to him, I sugar coated my words, I don't love him. That he want tot have kids with me but now he can't because I already had that with someone else. It's not special anymore because I've already done it. I gave everything away to someone else, someone who didn't deserve me. His words got uglier each time. Then he starts hitting me. He has an answer in his head that he want to hear from me and if my answer is not what he want to hear, he'd get really nasty and mean. But if I told him what he need to hear even when it's not true, he go right ahead and use it against me knwowing that he wanted me to just say it. Now being with him is like walking on eggshells. I never know when he's going to get mad even when we're out having a really good day.
I hope that you're bf doesn't turn out like this. If it does, good luck to the both of us.

Oh and by the way, I can't help my bf with his feelings and thoughts. What he want me to do is IMPOSSIBLE. He wants me to build a time machine, go back and fix it.
