@braveJar4847

I'm in the same situation except my partner has been talking to other people and I'm hurt by it. I hope you can figure out a way forward. I'm sorry I can't be much help. I'm completely stuck with this situation too.

@braveJar4847,

I know how it feels. Tom me it is the worst kind of infidelity you can run into. If both of you are willing to try to reconnect, whether married or not, I'd suggest to seek help from a marriage counselor. Such a counselor won't "fix" your marriage, but can help the two of you to understand each other by staying with yourself and letting your heart speak. PS understanding does not mean you agree.

If this seems like a good idea, take your time to find a therapist who fits both of you. Feeling comfortable, feeling safe with a therapist makes all the difference.

I myself have been doing marriage counselor. I was so lucky to follow a hunch and finding a great counselor. Unfortunately the marriage crashed, but we are still counseling and still trying to reconnect. And... there is finally a bit of continuous progress.

What I am trying to tell, sometimes people get a much deeper bond with each other after they divorced. When both of you truly love each other, unconditionally, then you might be able to deal with pain and hurt. In whatever kind of relationship.

Warmth and love to both of you.
