Jealous friend but not a jealous girlfriend
So I am a student in the UK and I live with my two best friends in a house together. Usually we are great but due to covid and lockdowns we have had to spend a lot of time together. My friends seem to have bonded and become really really close and I almost now feel like a third wheel. Whilst I am happy that they have found a friendship I feel so left out. Due to covid my mental health deteriorated rapidly and so I don't know what is in my head and what is actual evidence of being left out. Overall the green monster is really ruining my life. I'm not usually the jealous type, never have been with boyfriends always felt super super secure. But now I'm so so jealous all the time with my friends and it's making me bitter. Any tips on defeating this?
Maybe let them know how you're feeling, when you're calm and relaxed. Most of it is probably in your head but I also know how emotions and thoughts can get the better of you. I'm sure they'd miss you a lot and care about you and the only one making things weird is the green monster. If anything, just remember they love you and really think about that whenever you feel left out. Try to keep yourself busy and make more time for them and for yourself.
