Long distance relationship problems
Hello everyone! I'm in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend for 2 years now. We don't get to see each other very often and at the moment we only write and have a call only once a week. On the other days he says he's busy. But on Saturday evening he meets with some common friends of ours online and they see some show online. The friends invited me once and I was happy to join, mostly because I got to see and hear him one more time in the week and spend time with my friends. The next week on Friday my boyfriend asked me if I was sure that I still wanted to join because "the show had to much drama" and that he would understand if I wanted to pass the next day. I felt bad and didn't join the next day. My friends also didn't say anything about it The next week my friends invited me again but my Boyfriend didn't and so I still didn't join Maybe I'm exaggerating but I feel really bad, as if he doesn't want to spend time with me and is avoiding me. I would appreciate if you could tell me your opinion. I just want to stop having this fear of missing out and not feel this lonely anymore. Thank you so much!
I'm not a listener but I also am in a long distance relationship, just like you. Almost 2 years now. We don't talk all that much like we used to, but she doesn't seem to have an issue with that. But also, we talked in-depth about eachother and we took the time to really understand eachother. I think you should talk things out with your boyfriend, tell him how you feel, ask him how he feels. Obviously that is just my opinion, but lack of communication only breeds anxiety. Stay strong!
