My wife wants a divorce
I am devastated, my wife and I have been married for 2 1/2 years and today she told me she wants out. My heart is broken. I wasn’t the best wife in the past but recently I have been doing everything possible to be a better me. I noticed she befriended a guy she use to flirt with and talk to all the time before her and I became committed and I feel very disrespected especially since we still married and living together. I usually kiss her ass but im not anymore because she obviously doesn’t love me anymore
I'm very sorry for you. Did she tell you why she wants a divorce? Sometimes it's not about you to take care of things to get better. Think about the situation, can you yourself change anything now? It's unattractive to be too vulnerable and you also can't force love. If she drifted apart and realised she does not love you anymore, I'm afraid you can't change the fact that she wants a divorce. All I would recommend you to do is to give her some time, sometimes it'll hurt a lot to lose the one you love like this, but as soon as you're gone after you fought for her love for so long, maybe she'll realise that she needs your love and wants you back. It's usually the case that the one who got left starts to enjoy life as a single again and stops to have feelings for the who rejected your love. I drastically stopped contacting my ex after fighting for his love for months, realising that you CAN'T force getting the love back you need, after all the rejections I was hurt and lost my feelings for him more and more, I started going out again, started being happy on my own. Very fast he realised that no one would've loved him as much as I did, now he's trying to win me back, but it will never be the same, because they hurt you and you'll not love them the way you did before. All your wife needs now is time to figure out her feelings again. So let her be. It'll hurt a lot letting her go, but she will maybe eventually realise that she needs you.
