Need relationship advice

My girlfriend recently broke up with me but she's said that she doesnt know it was the right choice. She says she needs time to figure herself out and I said ill wait for her because I couldnt even function in school after the break up. I dont know if shes just trying to make me feel better by getting my hopes up or if shes genuinely confused. I feel bad because Im trying my best not to treat her like im completely in love with her. I get jealous really easily now and I have a reoccuring dream of her replacing me. Any advice? Im really stressed about this and I just want to make her feel comfortable.
