Regret
I broke up with my girlfriend due to reasons of abuse. She started hitting me and I ended it because I wasn’t a fan. She doesn’t have anyone else and she whaled about how she doesn’t have anybody and how she doesn’t want to be alone. Those words and the scene echos through my head and I haven’t been getting any sleep. I still love her alot I wanted to marry her. I don’t want her to be by herself alone with her thoughts.

you had your reasons to break up. That she says to doesn't have anybody and doesn't want to be alone is just to get your attention.
Don't fall for it. She decided the ill-treat you, you had enough, end of story.
You didn't do anything wrong, are not responsible for her situation and cannot help her.
Focus on you, not on someone from the past.
