We can't see each other face to face

Because of the pandemic, i can't go out and see my boyfriend... We don't live that far from each other but the number of cases here have been rising so much. We can chat and video call but it's not the same. There's lots of awkward silence and he says he's starting to feel pressured. I should distance myself a little bit, no? But it's hard. We miss each other but at the same time I don't want to make him feel overwhelmed with me.
