i’m confused

my boyfriend is the type where he doesn’t miss me fast & takes a long time to miss me. but he always give me attention when we’re texting. he texts very fast. but he doesn’t like to talk on the phone cause whenever we do, he doesn’t really know what to say. & he doesn’t really understand himself at all, it’s hard for him to explain his feelings. he likes space and tend to spend time with his friends more than me; he says he loves me & would want to marry me in the future. im not sure if it’s me or him. like am i too clingy? or what’s wrong?
