My grandmother told my mom, she wish she only had boys. I think that has played a huge factor in all of my mothers problems. My mom is a victim, gets defensive, wants pity from others, hoarder, and unhealthy. I love my mom but she’s very toxic and hard to be around. I suggested therapy and not sure how she’s going to respond. So to answer your question yes, mommy issues are real.
