Scared

I went through a traumatic experience and was on antibiotics for 6 weeks (NOT for an STD, a spinal infection).

I couldn't touch my toes and was shaving down there blindly. I got a couple of bumps which I assumed were ingrown hairs or the usual razor effects. It's been about a month or less and they're still there. I'm REALLY scared. I'm getting tested tomorrow, but honestly I don't know what to think. I'm not a nasty person and I'm scared if I test positive for something that I'm going to have a panic attack.

Just breathe ok. I get like this all the time when it comes to situations like this. Have you tried looking up the side effects for the medication? Maybe it's giving you a slight rash. The bumps might just be normal sometimes you get them from shaving. Just remember to stay calm when your waiting for the results. Try not to think the worst of a situation cause usually it's not that bad in the end. I hope for the best for you. Just remember to ground yourself and breathe ❤️

Thank you so much for replying! I swear you have no idea how much that means to me. She told me they look like little pimples from shaving and to use over the counter neosporin like cream. I did get tested for everything, though, just in case. I feel a little more calm now knowing at least they're not warts.

I went through this in the past and just about gave myself a heart-attack thinking the worst! Try using something like "Bikini-zone" ointment, it is perfect for shaving irritation like that and is available over the counter :) Hope that helps and glad to hear things were okay!
