Sex anxiety
Im a 19 y/o female virgin and whenever it comes time to have sex with my boyfriend i get extremely anxious and tense and I suddenly get turned off. My first boyfriend (when i was 17) sexually abused me and forced me to do sexual things for him. He tried to rape me and im so lucky that he didnt. Ever since then ive been extremely afraid of sex. I dont mind doing other sexual things but when it comes to sex i freak out. Ive talked to my boyfriend about this and he seemed to be understanding but im afraid that he'll just get tired of waiting and he'll either cheat on me or leave me.what do i do?
sorry about what happened to you in the past. if your boyfriend loves you he will wait as long as you need. He seems to understand. Communication is always key the easiest way to feel more comfortable is to talk openly with your partner about what's going to happen. sex is better when you can laugh a little bit about it. It's crucial to have a sense of humor when doing something. Feeling nervous or anxious before having sex is completely normal. it’s important to take things slow. Start off with non-sexual activities like kissing, hugging, and cuddling. Gradually build up to more intimate activities like oral sex, manual stimulation, and intercourse. This will give you time to adjust and get used to each new level of intimacy.
Taking things slow can also help create a more meaningful experience. It gives you the opportunity to savor each moment and really connect with your partner. Plus, it allows you to explore different aspects of your sexuality and discover new sources of pleasure.
