Sexual dysfunction?

I've been with my boyfriend for nearly 2 years and in the beginning we had a lot of sex. We lived together from the start and are now in a new place from where we were which I hate.

For the last 6 months or so (since we moved) I rarely get horny, avoid sex and pleasuring my boyfriend and hate it when he touches me. I still love him and want to be with him more than anything but I really don't want to have sex. It's really affecting our relationship because he still wants sex and pleasure everyday but for me it makes me angry that it's all he wants! I've told him I don't feel comfortable but he doesn't seem to understand! We stayed in a hotel a few weeks ago and I was okay having sex but still not 100%...

I never masturbate and rarely fantasise about sex so it's not like I'm wanting it from other people or anything. I don't know what to do or what's wrong with me! Any advice or insight would be great!

Sexual activity can be affected by a multitude of things. Stress, medication (or changing of medication), unhappiness with a certain situation / relationship, unhappiness with ourselves and depression can all cause us to simply not be in the mood and can cause us to shy away from sex. And sometimes there isn't a reason. Sometimes we're just not in the mood and that's okay.

You mentioned being in a new house, which you're unhappy with and you also mentioned how you feel angry by your boyfriend's inability to understand your feelings. These two factors alone could be causing the sexual dysfunction. I would recommend doing some soul searching and seeing if you can't figure out what feelings come up when you think about sex. Take note of any positive or negative feelings or any fears/concerns/unhappiness you may feel. Ask yourself if you felt like your boyfriend backed off for a bit if you feel like that would help. Or if you feel like he isn't listening / caring about certain concerns and that has temporarily severed this connection you once had. If you are on any medication, I would recommend looking up the side effects and see if sex can be affected. If all else fails and you are still feeling detached sexually, a doctor would be an excellent person to contact about this and get their opinion on it. If you want. Again, sometimes we just don't feel like it and that's more than acceptable.

Good luck!

Though erectile dysfunction is often assiciated with older men, studies show that 25 percent of men diagnosed with ED aree under the age of 40. This is an issue for men that can be hard to talk about, even to close friends. There is a lot of talk about different medications, but it's very important to use hight quality medications. Canada drugs are proved to be effective. The biggest problem is the fact that patients are ashamed or afraid to talk about their problem to their doctor
