@yearningmichelle It could certainly just be something normal. However, often times, increased sexual desires may be a sign of mania in Bipolar disorder. If you're worried that your increased libido may be something concerning, then perhaps the best thing to do would be to contact your doctor, or a professional therapist, just to make sure!

If your environment is in a better place then we could understand that yes you do not feel as much pressure as you did when you were younger. Many times guilt, shame, blame, and other bad ideas could contribute to a lower libido, but if you are in better place out of these emotional hangups, and or with a good partner, then your libido can be higher. Although of course, your society does have a part to play in this too, ultimately it's your body and situation you are living through.

Sure! I`m younger than you, 25, but when I was younger I was afraid/uncomfortable with my sexuality so I was afraid to have any casual encounters. I only slept with 4 people up until I had just turned 24, and 19 to 23 I only had sex with one person. Now, in the last year i`ve had a lot of casual sex, but I don`t regret it, and personally i`m not ready to be in a realtionship right now (got out of one after 5 years) so I think it`s normal to become more comfortable as we get older with exploring, and ourselves.
