16 year old son feels uncomfortable
Hi
I've been in a new relationship for just over 12mths. I have 3 children age 16,15 and ,12 who I have been open and honest with. They all get along great with my new man we are not rushing to move in we are just taking it as it goes but at the moment for the last few nights my new man has been sleep I g over it's been good but my 16 year old son has gone to his father's because he feels uncomfortable of my new man sleeping over his fine when he visits but just staying the night...
I've talked to him and I feel helpless as I want all this to work Just don't know what I can do? Do I just give him time? He wants to come home
Any advice would be great

You can't have the cake and eat it too, you win some, you lose some...a new "authority" in the house is not confortable for your eldest teen and beside understanding about life he has to understand about this unusual situation too...yes, he needs time but time gurantees nothing...he will find his path and way on his own somehow...it was a very good thing that you let him leave for thenights if that what he wanted to do...it is hard for him too...not everything is about yourself...
