Any other clutter-bug girls with neat-freak guys?
I'm the ultimate clutter-bug. I have knickknacks and papers and reciepts and anything else I might need within easy reach through a system that works for me. Hubby, conversely, is an uber neat-freak. We fight about it a lot.....I mean A. LOT.
Anyone else going through this dynamic?

Sounds like your system is no longer working for you, actually.
Not that I'm saying you're to blame for the rows, it takes two.
You both deserve to be heard, you both need to compromise, and then to forgive each other's mistakes.

Perhaps invest in some cabinets/bureau/desks/other furniture that has opaque exterior doors/drawers. You can then keep things to your convenience and they remain hidden from view by the super neat exterior. Open shelves and counters are your enemies, pretty wooden doors on storage spaces are your friends. Neatness is not the same as being super organized so maybe if things were out of sight it would keep the peace :) All the best!
