Approaching a crush

I work in a reputed multinational company and recently interviewed a female candidate for a starter job in the same. While the candidate did not perform so well in the interview, I found the candidate extremely sweet and cute and developed an instant crush on her. I am thinking of approaching her on social media to maybe befriend her or ask her out. it's just that I am afraid of doing so on the pretext of being considered creepy (because I used full name from my resume to find her on social media). Is there a good way to approach her or should I just refrain from doing so?
