Cheated on a long distance relationship
Hello, I'm a 22 year old. I'm in a LDR for the past one year. I live in the US while my girlfriend lives in India. She was supposed to move here this fall for college but has postponed it by another year due to the pandemic. I'm somewhat a sex addict and have cheated a couple of times. But it was just a sexual need for me and nothing else. I know the "logical" and "ethical" step would be to either tell her or break up. But I really love her and see my future with her. Also, she has had quite a past and if she comes to know about this, it'll completely destroy her. I love her too much to see her in such a state. I'd rather live with the guilt for the rest of my life. The only issue being, there's another year of long distance and I'm not sure when my sexual desires would take over me and make me do it again. Also, I've never even thought of even flirting with someone else when I'm with her. I think it's mainly due to the distance
