Confused

I'm 23, single. I've been trying to get myself out there and date more this year. I don't date much. I've been on dates and I usually stop talking to them after the first date. It's been a while since I've had a date. So I started talking to a so far great guy we have things in common and are supposed to hangout next week. Then a guy I hung out with in January started to text me that he wants to reconnect and he just wants to support me with my goals. He's a nice guy and responds quickly; I stopped talking to him because he was being a little too clingy, and wanted to see me all the time. I have work and school and sometimes you don't want to see ppp after work lol. I think I'm being too picky so I kinda want to give the the guy I used to talk to a chance but then what if I miss a great guy who i just started talking too?!
