Confused about what I want

While growing up I was a shy kid and also an introvert, which turned into social anxiety later in my life. All this time I have never thought about getting into a relationship. First reason is my social anxiety. But I have mostly recovered from it. I also saw all my friends getting in and out of a relationship a lot. So watching them made me question myself like am I missing out on something ? Should I get into a relationship because all my friends are doing it ? I also love my personal space and alone time, so I never felt the need to get into a relationship but watching other people is making me rethink things. So I am trying to figure it out.

@sensitiveSailboat

The truth is, many people don't know what they want. Try as I must, I can't give you sound advice on what you should or want to do. However, I don't recommend forcing yourself into a relationship because you feel like you're missing out. Sometimes relationships aren't for everybody. As a socially anxious introvert myself, it is possible to be in a relationship with a desire for privacy. But, it all depends on whether or not you need it. Please don't push yourself, though; I can only tell you that we are entitled to want what we desire, but be careful what you wish the most. It might not be the best outcome if we think of the bigger picture.

Hope that helped a little...
